Covenants
Lakemoor Community Club's covenants were signed into 2008, and stay with the land. This means that every home in Ken Lake is governed by these covenants.
With new state legislation, the covenants revision committee will be actively updating our covenants. Changes to covenants require 60% of the neighborhood to agree and sign.
Currently, we are under the 2008 Covenants.
Additional Rules & Regulations are intended to clarify the covenants, and were approved by the board in 2024.
Bylaws
Lakemoor Community Club's bylaws were adopted in 2008. This document determines how and who will govern LCC resources.
The Governance Committee has also begun work on bylaws revision. This will bring our bylaws more in line with modern practices, and tighten rules and procedures to reduce confusion.
In addition to the bylaws, the 2008 board also approved Articles of Amendments that support and extend the signed bylaws.
Appeals
The board deliberates on enforcement actions during executive session. Executive session must be announced at least 48 hours in advance, and also requires a regular meeting where the actual voting takes place. If you do not agree with the board's decision, or if there are extenuating circumstances, you may file an appeal.
